Susan Bailey, M.D. is an Internal Medicine Physician with over 36 years of experience. Though retired from full-time hospital practice, she continues to care for a small number of patients in her private practice. She lives on the serene shores of Lake Ontario with her Yorkie, Blessing, and cherishes time with her two daughters — one a Nurse Practitioner in Rochester and the other a Bed and Breakfast owner in Athens, Georgia — as well as her six grandchildren.

Susan’s life has been deeply shaped by her faith in Jesus Christ, whom she has known as a constant friend, counselor, and healer since 1991. After a devastating spinal cord injury left her with a broken neck, she experienced what she believes to be the redemptive healing of Jesus. This profound experience has only strengthened her passion for discussing the Word of God and encouraging others to find comfort and purpose through scripture.

In her novel, “Above All: A Special Meditation and Reflection on Psalm 22,” Susan offers a heartfelt exploration of scripture, weaving together the Old and New Testaments to present a powerful story of purpose and redemption. She hopes readers will be inspired to trust in God’s Word and discover its relevance in their own lives.
